The two MIKE programmes, MSc in Innovation, Knowledge and Economic Dynamics (MIKE-E) and MSc in Innovation, Knowledge and Entrepreneurial Dynamics (MIKE-B) are developed in close cooperation between two established research groups at the Department of Business and Management, Aalborg University.
Teachers and supervisors related to the MIKE programmes are mainly coming from these two research groups:
The IKE Group

The main research themes include economic evolutionary modelling, the theory of the firm, national systems of innovation, international trade and competitiveness and the interplay between economic and ecological issues. The IKE group is part of DRUID (Danish Research Unit for Industrial Dynamics).
The EOB Group
The Entrepreneurship and Organizational Behavior (EOB) group does cutting-edge research in entrepreneurship, organizational change, firm growth and organizational dynamics. Their research draws from other fields, such as psychology and sociology, to enrich the understanding of organizational behaviour and entrepreneurship.
The IBE Group
The IBE-group (International Business Economics) researches and teaches in international business economics looking at the firms’ abilities to create international contexts, including the specific problems firms in developing countries are facing when they integrate in the international economy.
